then, we played hay in the hay house, so fun. and the third day, we have made julekaker for the family. i think i lived the norwegian tradition christmas this year.
the sad day, the 23th of december, me and marinette and mirana, we left HOF to STOKKE. First experience with the bus, 4 hours from Kongersvinge to Tønsberg, pass by Oslo.
Arrive at Tønsberg, we went to Stokke to stay tow days, we stayed there during the Juleaften, christmas eve.
JULEAFTEN I NORGE
it is the 24th of december, i went to church with my host family and my teammate. it was 1 hour church, and it was the first time that i have seen church full in norway. then, we had big meal, the norwegian traditional foods: Ribe, pinkjøt,julekaker. And after we opened the gift but before, we had turned around the juletre! and, when it finished, we played together, and eat some dessert together. and we walked out, after i think we slept at midnight! i really lived the norwegian Christmas last year!
nytåraften!
This was the best part of the this trip. when christmas is coming i started to say that it will be different, it was, and it is because we were in the right place at the right moment. the name of this place is GRIMERUD, and the event is called Nytårsfestival 2009!
this was so nice, worship and seminar. i think we all need to think what was good and bad during last year and what should i do to make it better during this new year. during the camp i thought about that.
the amazing part was the new year`s eve, worship for 24 hours, i feel God`s presence. so nice
i was in right place, right moment and with the right person!
then after this long trip, this week, i am at hald international center. it is so nice to start this year with fun and smile!
this was the best christmas ever!
